#28 there was a stray cat I used to feed and she would do all the normal cat stuff at food time - walking in circles around me, rubbing her face on stuff, meowing the whole time - and once I forgot who I was dealing with and absentmindedly reached out to pet her back. She whirled around, hissing and spitting, and clawed the shit out of my hand. I was just like "oh yeah right, you're the outside cat, aren't you"

#28 My ex SIL always had cats. My parents had a very cat sized dog who would also pretty much melt when you picked her up. On more than one occasion my SIL would have the pup on her lap, stand up, and drop her. Apparently you can do that with cats and they land on their feet. Poor Dori would just go from sleeping to very confused why someone would throw her on the floor. Thankfully she never got hurt. (She's on the left in this picture)
