This time, instead of following step by step, I included my own choice of mountain - Bora Bora, from Tahiti

I used the same techniques as for the snowy mountain but chose my own colours this time.

I had a very hard time getting the right green that I wanted in the end I bought a new type of yellow to mix with the blue and it helped but it isn’t quite as tropical as I’d hoped. Also too much color and contrast and detail so it looks too close.

It really is fun when the technique works and waves magically appear before you

Creating the foam was very satisfying - you have to use a rocking motion with the brush and juggle the values carefully so that the white looks different when it’s in the shade
