Cob Wall buuldings are more durable to earthquake shaking than modern single-family home designs. Sorry I don't have a source handy but there are both research papers and videos from lab tests on YouTube if you want to go digging.
You can't really build multi-story structures with Cob unless you have a reinforced frame. The weight of cob means that it does have vertical building limits, but single-story is fine.
Adding bottles has been extensively demonstrated, but lacks conclusive research.
