Today one of my biggest idols was found dead.

I love Linkin Park, I decorated the heck out of my room with posters and banners with the band and its members

I went to their first ever meet and great in London back in November 2010

I made some banners for the concert in London

I got posters from a few places all around the world, this poster being from Mexico

I personally got my t-shirt and my ticket autographed by the band in that same meet and great in 2010

I even made an attempt at a really crappy design back when I was 12 years old.

I even went as far as putting a flag on the roof of my room

I had almost every album that was available to the public with their LPU membership.

I was and still am a really huge Linkin Park fan, I do admit that the room decor came from an angsty pre pubescent boy but even in my 20s I didnt have the heart to take down such a big part of my life from my room. Linkin Park helped me get through the difficulties of moving to a whole different country as a child, my angsty teenage years, darker moments and my college experience away from home. Their lyrics made me feel like I wasn't alone, they helped me cope with a lot of confusing parts of my life, they brought me and my siblings together, they helped my sister through extremely difficult times, they meant something to us.

I still can't believe he's gone, I don't really know how to feel since Linkin Park is such a big part of my life. Me and my siblings are still in tears and in shock, all we can hope is that he's in a better place.

I feel extremely sorry for his family and friends, my heart goes out to them.

May he rest in peace.
