That looks pretty sweet, but some dumbass would probably swing that around and snap the weld (I mean me. I'm the dumbass. I... may have actually done that to a replica.) since there's no tang. Damn nice 3rd attempt creation.

There is a tang, in fact, its a full tang, not a stick. a 1"x1/4" stub from the blade runs through the guard and then a larger flat bar is welded around it. Not going break anytime soon.
