And while they all kept me company and watched football with me, slowly working me into being social in return, the artist in the group drew a little me, saying something goofy.

She treated it like a little thing, but it meant a lot to me. I've actually already placed an order to have it printed on mounted canvas to display in our house.

My good friend Tony had his demons, but life had finally started going his way. Quit alcohol, got a new girlfriend, just got back from a Hawaii vacation, and abruptly committed suicide.

Mental illness can go from zero to sixty remarkably fast. Do not here afraidv to reach out. Hotlines or even just to strangers like me on the internet. I've dealt with my own brand of mental and physical illnesses, so I know how much it sucks and my door is always open, so to speak.

Hope you all have had a great weekend so far.

I’m so sorry @OP. I’m glad to hear you have good friends to surround yourself with. Let me know if you need anything!
