A wizard of earthsea is a childhood favorite of mine, i still have the school library copy I borrowed and forgot to return before I moved. It's been over 25 years you think they want it back?

Wizard of Earthsea was a childhood favorite of mine as well! I read my paperback copy until it came apart and then wrapped it in a handkerchief and rubber bands. Still have it on my shelf.

it is one of my favorites as well. Right up there with Left Hand of Darkness and The Dispossessed. Her short stories are also exquisite!
Glad you got to meet her! That's pretty amazing.
I got to see her at the first Seattle Book Fair. She did a brief reading and then just sat and talked to and with us. She was lovely and graceful and funny and kind.

I've enjoyed all her writing, even the non-SF/Fantasy stuff. She just had such a wonderful way of weaving words.
