Good afternoon beauties

My posts are getting few and far between and I apologize for that, I know there’s a select few of you beautiful animals out there that used to look forward to my daily dumps, but life is Sisyphus and I am being constantly rolled up a hill.

The even fewer of you who are subscribed to my YouTube channel have likely noticed that my posting schedule has been erratic and even worse, that I haven’t been able to post anything of substance.

The home buying process has taken longer than we had hoped. We switched lenders as the original (VA approved) lender had not been doing his job at all, what little had actually been done on his side, was mostly done by his underwriter, or half finished by our realtor. After switching lenders, the new lender helped us to switch to an FHA loan. Upon doing that, he discovered a significant amount of issues with paperwork from the original lender.

Essentially we shouldn’t even be locked into a contract for a home currently because my partner’s job isn’t considered a reliable form of employment, but hitting a year with their job next month will get us past that small hurdle, but it was something that should’ve been caught by the original lender months ago. Alongside that, there were other discrepancies from the original that can only be explained as incompetence that the new lender has had to go through and fix.

Hopefully when I tell you that we’ll be closing by this time next month, it’s the final time I have to say it. Beyond that, everything else has been going more smoothly. I just feel terrible for my partner because they’re constantly high stress about the issues we’ve been encountering with the lenders.
