I really cant with any religion. Two days ago i started full ghosting a friend of 11 years who is Muslim. Generally i was able to keep it seperate from our friendship. He always hated lgbt+ community. Then the other night, after gaming and signing off, he out of nowhere says "hey you should come over and suck my dick" Naw I tried with religious nuts, they are all the same. There's plenty of research showing that many people who are homophobic are themselves at least somewhat gay/bi. They're self-hating and often it's religion taught them to be self-hating. I was born into the LDS Church, and this is a gross misunderstanding of the Church and the congregation. The church exists to form a community of good, trusting people who give up 10 percent of their income in spite of the tithe being abolished in order to enjoy full rights and standing in the church, because they are better than everyone else. Yes, sometimes an older member rapes a younger member, but if you call the Bishop, he'll help both families cover it up, no police necessary.
