There's a reason why nobody gets paired with Katachans if they can at all help it. If the reasonable one in the group wears a Commissar hat...you don't wanna be there. Whereas commissaring Kriegers is just plain boring and unsatisfying.

That's canteen talk. Kriegers will only drag you WHEN you're not being hard ass enough, which is a sign of being a poor commissar in the first place. Katachans will remember you exist only AFTER half their squad got wiped for walking THROUGH a Chaos cult sigil and running through all other options available to them(which are shooting it and losing even more of the squad trying to knife what is most likely now just the floor). Then you have to hoof it from basecamp just to call the Inquisition.

GW and Amazon have a deal with Henry Cavill attached (as an EP/creative lead, I believe) but that's going to be a long, long ways out. Last I heard, they were still workshopping ideas on what exactly to make. There was a short in the Amazon Secret Level series. You can probably still find 'Astartes' on YouTube. Warhammer+ is GW's streaming service with a bunch of animated stuff. Or you could pick up some comics and/or books and read. Plenty of stuff to dip into!

Personally, I prefer the books. The few animated series on Hammer and Bolter are good but I can't see paying into a streaming service with so little content.

I've never signed up for it and it sounds like it's only worth maintaining if you like the hobby-side videos but if you sub for a month and watch everything you want, it's not a bad deal. $7 is cheaper than a matinee movie ticket most places these days.

Depends largely on the situation. When you look at videos of snipers in the War in Ukrainian they often use suppressors in the night which also hide the muzzle flash. Even if they don't, they usually give off several rounds before relocating. To relocate after every single shot is usually something that (smart) insurgence do.

I mean, it's a lasgun. The first shot they're going to see the las beam arc from the hole either way. It's also not stuck out far enough to be visible from angles. I don't think it'd make any difference either way.

Depends on the writer. Sometimes you can see the lasbolt, sometimes you can't, sometimes it's only visible through special visors or fog or the dust of battle. These two are definitely engaging in mass crowd control though, maybe Orkz, 'Nids, lesser demons... Random rioting civilians..

Not as hard. Lasguns (from something I read ages ago) can be annoying for PDF to train on because it's a completely different set of physics you have to account for if you've been trained on stub weapons (kinetic projectiles). Only hae to account for distance over barrel, not drop. Point, click, see if a scorch mark developed or if the target is now missing an arm or half its dome, adjust.
