It felt so much like it was 4-5 episodes they stitched into a movie. And the stuff they edited out was plot or anything that wasn't action.

It was a fun movie, didn't really advance the story of Mando and Grogu in any real way, but it was fun.

I'd say it advanced their story a little bit, SPOILER....
With baby Yoda operating more independently to save Mando from the poison, and Mando committing to more moral side. But these are both areas they've been moving toward throughout the show, so it's only a small advance

Haven't seen it yet. I didnt think it would i feel like they kind of need to keep it sperate from the show so that those that haven't seenbthe show could still see this

I would say it's a fun movie set in the Star Wars universe, not a good Star Wars movie. That make sense?

The two reviews I've seen thus far complained about all the monsters that they face off against, as if the arena scene from Episode II didn't happen.

The problem is that that’s all the movie is. Facing off against monsters. In an arena. In a bar. In a facility. Etc.
