Imgur I need your help

This isn't a shameless plug, trust me, I genuinely need help with this.

A couple days ago my first song got released to the world after 4 weeks of waiting and 4 months of production. However, this release got placed under a different artist profile with the same name. Because there was only one other KRB in the world as far as I was aware, I didn't think it'd be that much of a problem.

*this is where the fun begins*

I directly contacted Spotify and they fixed it within 12 hours. Easy. I then looked at ways Apple Music deals with artist separation - long story short, they don't. This sucks because people can't follow KRB without having all the other music by different artists popping up on their suggested feed. This also sucks for another reason - other platforms are linked to Apple Music do if they can't fix it, neither can the other ones.

After seeing this I sent a request into my distributor, CD Baby (a US distribution company) telling them I need help with artist separation *on all the platforms they sent it to*. As soon as I sent the request I got an automated email saying these types of requests usually take 60-90 DAYS to resolve. Surely not...

Anyway it's safe to say my launch did not go according to plan and I probably should've foreseen some sort of issue. My bad.

My options at this point are: Wait for CD Baby to get back to me with a probable solution (however chances of failure aren't zero), to re-release it under a different name and change all my social media handles, to just deal with it and only use Spotify as a platform for my music.

No guarantee I'll get back straight away as I'm writing this to procrastinate doing my uni work but thanks in advance, posting here is worth it even if 10 people see it.
