PSA: Simple whitebalance and saturation boost goes a long way for food photos.

Thanks I’ll keep it mind for the future. Your name makes me wonder if food porn should’ve been one of the tags

I prefer cooked ham with mustard.

That does sound pretty tasty, and I think I still have mustard seeds in the cupboard. Tomorrow is another sandwich

Needs a pickle!

2nd! Kraut or a spear pickle!

Sauerkraut would work, too. Needs some acid

I had a perinaise sauce to go with it, so it had a bit of acidity and spice to it, I didn’t get the glamor shot unfortunately

And here I only have coffee for breakfast, tho coffee is good too!

Something a little bit more fancy ;)

Lucky duck, I need to put a coffee press on the shopping list. What are we having, and how dark is the roast?

But do I still get a splot of ketchup on the side of the plate?

I didn’t get a glamor shot, but tonight the selection was a rich smoky perinaise. Ofcourse at my table all sauces are welcome

Peri-Peri was my goto sauce for a bunch of years then chipotle, screaming hot pepper sauce, currently in my Sambal Oelek phase. Through it all I've always had ketchup with grilled cheese. Looks delicious by the way.

I had a brief ghost pepper phase, but what I really fell for was a mango habanero sauce. So tangy and just the right amount of bite. I’ve been procrastinating making some, but the peppers are nearly ready to harvest so hopefully that motivates me

I think we had Reapers, Ghost Peppers, Chocolate Habaneros and one other. So so hot. Our fingers were aching for 3 days after the cook.

We made some hot pepper jelly last summer. It was so good but ungodly heat.

That’s the perfect shot, did you post a recipe? If not yet are you up for sharing?

Would be great with a bit of a grainy mustard. Still sounds great as is too

Next on the list is to make some, I’ve got some mustard seeds and now I’m wondering how it’ll turn out using blueberry vinegar

7 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ooh that’d be interesting. I can’t really imagine that flavour

Randomly stumbled onto a video about someone trying out a few different fruit for vinegars, and I’m very excited to try it especially for sauces

I bet it’d be good in like a bbq sauce

Or a marinade for pork
