The theft was likely from a warehouse or 'in store' because Best Buy generally refunds cash purchases in cash for amounts under $800, but for cash payments over $800, they will mail you a check from corporate within about 10 business days.

I ordered 60 iPads for a work deployment. Got all but one box of 20. Finally found a box with the proper tracking number, had been ripped off and taped to the box I got. Full of hypodermic needles. FedEx warehouse.

yup thankfully, we ordered direct Apple Business so it was a waste of time. Plus I got 500 needles to play with.

Haha! It's essentially a fair trade at that point. For bonus points I would enable it in Lost Mode and put a message up like WE KNOW YOU STOLE THESE AND YOUR LOCATION IS TRACKED. PS THE NEEDLES YOU GAVE US IS OF MORE USE THAN THESE IPADS NOW.
