Trying coloured pencils

I have seen many beautiful coloured pencil drawings and wanted to try it for myself. Most of my artistic experience is in painting, specifically acrylic, so coloured pencils are new to me. I finally had time to try something new between being busy with work/school. Constructive criticism is welcome, with the understanding that this is done with dollar store paper and store-brand pencils. I recently bought some Prismacolor (student quality) pencils and got paper for Christmas so my next work will be with higher quality materials.
