As someone who works for the government, it's amazing how accurate this is. The government is NOT perfect but it's amazing how many people think they know more about the topic than the professionals do. Like, I'm all for community engagement, and there are some really valuable perspectives shared sometimes. But holy shit people are SO DUMB it makes it all seem pointless.
