I can't tel from looking, and I can't find anything that looks similar enough on google, but it looks to be a beetle of some form

I found it, it's a false bombardier beetle. They squirt venom apparently.

on the plus side though, I can assure you that they aren't bed bugs, trust me, you don't want bed bugs...
