I was on a big family vacation to where my dad's side was from, Vermont, and we visited a book store and I bought this. I was so enthralled, instant fan.
And now, I'm about to embark on this adventure with my son. I also received a copy of Tolkien's World Paintings of Middle Earth from a close cousin of mine who knew I loved the world.
We've read the Hobbit (Illustrated) already, from the same cousin. ♥️

I picked up The Two Towers as a kid from my school library not realizing it was the second book. Still loved it.
