Yo Imgur! I'd like a little help from you guys
So my best friend was diagnosed with anxiety shortly after her brother died (suicide). Now, this isn't your everyday Imgur/Tumblr social anxiety shit, this is like if I don't text her when I get home from work she freaks out thinking I got in a wreck and died (and that's on a good day). So anybody out there that has anxiety or dates/lives with/is around someone with it, how can I help her? I really want to be there for her, especially since I feel like I wasn't there for her brother, and I want to make sure that she has someone to go to for anything.
WhoCaresAboutThePoints
Get her to a medical professional.
ThisIsNoCave
Get her some professional help

I meant to add this in the description but she is seeing a therapist and they're trying to find med for her but they don't really work

It'll be tough. My SO list her brother in a wreck a week after she moved out of state. Time helps. Just be there. Honor her wishes

is that a person or a dinosaur?
CHUBMARINES
Maybe both?

Be calm. Don't internalize her stress. Listen. Don't fix her. It takes time. Eventually bring humor into it.

Yeah, I have a lot of trouble with wanting to fix everything. I'm working on just keeping my trap shut and listening more

It'll be OK. It's been 7 years since I lost my brother to suicide. The first months were raging hell. The first years rocky. I'm happy now.

This was two days before her bday and three before thanksgiving. Doc said she had it before it happened, it just made it a whole lot worse
