Out of curiosity, how many times have you been boosted?

You tagged this covid19, but vaccines never provided 100% immunity against it. There's still people getting longcovid while fully up-to-date on their shots. The chances are much smaller than without them, but I've seen it too often in my proximity.

The problem is that there's people who are immunocompromised and they will be put in danger by this. They're collateral damage and that's not fair.

Don't want a vaccine? Cool, sign here to accept you will get no medical treatment and if you die you die.

Are we forgetting that if enough people aren't vaccinated it gives the disease a chance to change and render the vaccine useless?

I feel the exact same. But I'm heartbroken for little ones with shitty parents who will cause them to suffer.

Right, cool. BUT every infection event is a chance for mutation. That could make a given vaccine irrelevant. and by infection even i mean at a cellular level, so milions of events per person whose infected. THere's a reason we need new flu vaccines annually, its not that flu is THAT much more genetically unstable, it's just that it it infects so many more people.

A reminder to everyone that vaccines are great, but NONE are 100% effective (though they may be effectively so, depending on your other risk factors). So if there's more people getting X disease, that's going to increase your odds of getting it too, vaccinated or not.

Also, just as a bonus, a lot of folks who *can't* get vaccines but *rely* on others getting them (like, say, you're actually allergic to the vaccine) are also going to suffer because of these mandates.

Unfortunately, when I had MMR titer before working for a hospital system in 2002 it showed I wasn’t immune to measles so I got revaccinated, fast forward five years, get a titer test before traveling outside of the country, still no measles antibodies. So again a MMR bump. Vaccinated people protect people like myself by creating herd immunity. Thank you for getting your vaccines.

Hopefully by that time there will be an abundance of Luigis to handle that issue.

do you think that the dickhead would allow vaccines to remain legal? it's the same path they're taking with abortion. "no no, the state should decide. oh, wait, we have national power? fuck your state"

You could always go to Canada to get vaccinated.

I mean they can't unvaccinate you.
