In June 2025, Nezza asked if she could sing the national anthem in Spanish at Dodger Stadium, partially as a protest of the immigration raids that had recently started up (There is an official Spanish translation, commissioned by FDR). Stadium personnel asked her not to do it; she did it anyway. The Dodgers' official response was basically "No hard feelings."
