Guys -- I did the thing, and she said YES!

Yesterday, I proposed to a woman who often leaves me wordless with her compassion, drive, and boundless sense of adventure.

From her strength to her sense of humor, she is my perfectly imperfect person. She knew The Question was coming, but I managed to completely surprise her with how it was asked.

Guys, I am so lucky.

So stupidly, stupidly lucky.

She's an avid rock climber. I knew I had to propose to her when she had chalk on her hands. Anything else just wouldn't have been right.

(For the other climbers out there: she was lead climbing and I went down on one knee to take rope once she topped out. I lowered her, still on one knee, and presented the ring, which I pulled out of my chalk bag.)
