Just ‘cause he doesn’t need it doesn’t mean he doesn’t want it anyway.

If he did, most of them would lose it all in a few years. How do I know? Because that’s what happens to lottery winners and football players

Just gimme a heads up before he does so I can sell my house.

Here’s a better plan. Sell your house then buy it back after you get the money. Only now you don’t have a mortgage.

People that rich don't get there by helping others

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Of course not. In fact I’m sure one of the first things they learn to devalue IS people.

But he really worked for his money and does deserve it; not, no one "deserves" this, capitalism is modern religion. And it's just as fucked.

And some of the religious practices involve not paying taxes and underselling start up businesses so they can’t grow to become completion.

Nobody earns a billion dollars.

If it's just a small loan of a million dollars, you can get that anywhere

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

No you can't.

You can if your name is Donald and you ask your daddy.

If the tax does go through he'll pack up and move leaving 1000's of people without jobs just to protect his bottom line.

It’s a rule of business I guess; everyone is expendable when it comes to your profits.

Those same now rich NY homeless would be dead by the end of the week. 99.99% of homeless are not homeless because they simply lack money.

There are worse fates than death. Homelessness is arguably one of them.

To all the anti capitalists here: did you ever consider getting rich yourselves?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I have actually. But I discovered that I just don’t have the propensity to put profits over people. “Nice guys finish last” and all that.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That’s an interesting outlook. Better way to look at it is, “help a million ppl make a $1M”. Amzn, for instance, helps more than it hurts

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yeah but knowing that it could easily be a lot more helpful and a lot less hurtful but CHOOSES to do otherwise shows you their priorities.

He could, but he won’t.

Could you imagine tho...would be pretty awesome...

It's not like he's the only one, and it's not like NY homeless are the only ones. He's a symptom, not the cause. Attack the cause.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

The cause is the system we use to regulate our society isn’t impervious to human weaknesses like greed, ego or being power hungry.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's the cause.
