Jack

Long time lurker. I meant to post my dog jack on national dog day but I didn't understand how to submit I guess.

I never grew up with a dog, or any pets really. So when I came back from college for break and my parents had gotten a dog I was pretty stoked.

He was always calm. He never really needed his leash. We'd go running and he'd stay at my side. When other dogs would bark at him he wouldn't even look, he would just keep on going. The only animal he'd stop to look at were horses (because they're the only animal bigger than him).

He liked jumping up on people but he would never put any weight on you. I'm 6'1" and this goober would be able stare right into my eyes.

I only knew him for a short time, but I'm glad I got to know him at all.
