Brave & The Bold in general was fantastic. It was wonderfully campy and silly and knew how to not take itself too seriously. Obviously it's not stepping to the glory of the original Batman TAS, but it's easily my second favorite DC show behind that.

Now you see, that power to reach into the midbrain of fish he talks about? Turns out that extends to EVERYTHING descended from aquatic life. Both terrestrial and extraterrestrial. Aquaman can literally mind control any lifeform that ever crawled out of a sea, anywhere. His connection to the Blue makes him extremely powerful as well.

Do you have examples of Aquaman mind controlling other things like humans? Because that sounds like some free ranged bullshit that totally wrecks the character to me. Or is this some nonsense he pulled once and has been quietly forgotten/swept under a rug? Most long running comics characters have something like that.

I'll be honest, it's probably some of that free ranged bullshit done by a writer who painted themselves into a corner, but I'll have a look, see if I can find the example I'm remembering. It sounds like something a 90s Aquaman would've done, when everyone was being an absolute Edgelord/lady.
