Usually it triggers out of the blue, most common around late teens- early 30s. While we dont understand how it happens, we do know that 1/2

Oh and it also shares symptoms with many other illnesses, it a diagnosis of exclusion, once all else is ruled out.

2/2 it comes out of nowhere, for me it was food poisoning that triggered it, age 19. Prior to that i had been perfectly healthy.
