What's going on? This is a failed attempt at a coup by a failing President whose top officials and even his wife are under the spotlight for being corrupt, and he's desperate to stop any investigations. His declaration of Martial Law included seizing control of the media and illegally preventing Parliament from voting on the declaration. They did however manage to vote and slapped him down hard.
