I am sore, (that was actually the 1st symptom last night when I went to shower) the nausea, & then the worst diarrhea I have ever had. I have only slept 1.5 hours. On the plus side called my mom & asked her to bring pedialyte. She brought, (we both masked so she wouldn't get it) the pedialyte, some unsweetened room temp tea, some anti diarrhea meds, seagrams ginger ale. Finally I can rest, although I'm still struggling to get comfortable.thank you mom, I love you

Don't lay flat. Build up a mound of pillows and crouch up on that. A good angle helps.

I had it too! Truly terrible few days. What I read says it isn’t airborne, but wash hands a lot, especially after bathroom stuff. Be sure to decontaminate any areas where they was pooping or throwing up. Like serious decontamination. Feel better soon!

I'd taken antibiotics a couple of dozen times over the decades and been told "May cause diarrhea" but it had never happened. UNTIL...
I'm out at a client's and leaving for home. Rrrrrumble. Oh I'm sure it's no big deal. By the time I made it home, my hand was trembling at the keyhole. I dropped my pants as I sat and just baaaarely made it. Closest I've come to shitting myself in my adult life.

I just got over C Dif. 1 out of 10. I would not suggest it. I had to take Vancomycin to get rid of it. Cash price is $900 for a 10 day supply. C Dif is gone but still having bloody poo. Can't trust farts. Went to gastroentorologist and they want to do endoscopy and colonoscopy. Can't get me in until April. Bleeding so much my iron has dropped. I'm so tired.

On the plus side, I caught gastric flu once and lost a (literal) shitload of weight sitting on the toilet with a bucket on my knees for a week. Firing every morsel of food and drink out of both end simultaneously over and over again, while not recommended for weight loss, is certainly effective.

Oh yeah, I'm a HS teacher. When I got back one of my department members said a kid projected in Monday, 1st period, which was our semester start day because of the weather. One of our other department members caught it, so he was there Monday and Tuesday while I was gone, and then out the rest of the week. One coworker had 1/3 absent in one class period. Little petri dishes, even as teenagers.

If it’s Norovirus, make sure you wash your hands, offending areas and surfaces often. Transmission mostly occurs from physical contact, and not airborne droplets unless you are vomiting as well. ✌🏼 Hope you get better soon!
