I hate my mom's boyfriend. I hate him with every fiber of my being. I recently moved to Massachusetts from Virginia and had to leave my car behind because my mom (who used my money as a down payment on it because she insisted I needed a nicer car than what I could afford and I was too blitzed from having brain surgery to argue.) Owed a bunch of money on it and it was in her name. I was very nice and removed all of my hand made bumper stickers when I gave my car to my mom, but I left a sticker of bigfoot holding the progress pride flag on because people should always feel like they're supported and safe, and her douche bag boyfriend SCRAPED IT OFF. Scraped the flag off of the car my trans-nonbinary sibling rides in to go to their diversity meetings. Scraped it off a car he doesn't even own. Defaced MY ART because he's a sensitive little bitch that can't handle other people being the focus of a conversation. This asshole LIVES with my older sibling and he has the gall to do this KNOWING my sib is at high risk and extremely anxious about being the victim of hate crimes. He did this knowing I made the sticker myself, cutting the colors out individually on my cricut and laying them all by hand. Knowing that he doesn't even drive this care because he bought himself a used fucking mercedes that he can't even afford to maintain. Fucking Scum.

This is what the sticker is supposed to look like. I designed it the first June after my sibling came out as trans.
I've taken some action and purchased 250 pride flag stickers and mailed them to my sibling so they can use them as they see fit living with this douche. I can garuntee I will be making new Pridefoot stickers in the future to show support for all the lovely people who need it. I just can't believe it happened. My sibling is thankfully safe, at least physically, while living with Captain Bigot, but we're working on getting them moved up to MA in the next couple of years where they'll be safer and have more access to resources for their disabilities.

Edit: I'm overwhelmed with the support everyone has shown. I was angry this morning when I found out what happened but now I can't help but smile knowing so many people share these values and beliefs that all people should be treated fairly and that my mom's boyfriend crossed a line removing the flag (he's claiming he didn't know what it was, which is bullshit).

For everyone asking about getting their own Pridefoot sticker, I'll need to do some research. I made this sticker by cutting the colors out on my cricut and piecing them together by hand which isn't really feasible to make enough to sell. If you really are interested in getting one, I'll make a post in a day or two with info on how to get one for yourself! I will also donate a portion of any proceeds earned. I have a non-profit in mind that my older sibling has benefited from, but I dont want to say their name until I know the group is ok with it. Thank you all for your kind words and support!

Make sure the stickers are easy enough to remove so theres no damage, its just tedium to remove, and load that car down with all the flags.

You dont need to tell me. My mom is an utter mystery in terms of psychology. Raised by parents with a healthy marriage, idolizes toxic and controlling men, primary care takes of her adult disabled and queer child, votes for politician that want to make their lives harder, supports feminism, tells me off for not waiting for her boyfriend to open a door for me. She cracked years ago.

I'm not a bigot, and I'm CIS. But if I bought a car from someone and there was a pride flag on it, I'd scrape it off too. I don't, personally, like wearing politics on my sleeve. I have a hard mindset of leave people alone and push nothing on anyone who didn't ask. I show my support for people by treating them like I treat everyone else.

Totally valid. I'd understand if this was his reasoning, but it wasn't. He's made many transphobic and homophobic comments in the past, pretending to "not understand" when all he needs to do is say "ok" and just being angry that he isn't the center of attention because other people have problems that he doesn't relate to.

If you get more stickers printed, don't use Stickermule, they're hardcore trump supporters and they support extremely right wing gun companies. They also have a history of altering designs with messages they disagree with and shipping them out as an insult

Sounds like they should get a flood of pride designs so that it they waste their own time, and money, altering them and then spending even more time and money disputing all the charge backs that costumers start because they didn't get what they ordered. Worst case, a ton of pride srickers get printed by this company that hates doing it. Best case, they lose profit by alienating customers.

No worse than potentially causing someone to kill themselves because you are too insecure to support people and allow them to live their best lives.
