Casting was great, acting was top-tier. Was not the correct character. Rorschach is supposed to be a transphobic, homophobic, racist, conspiracy theorist with delusions of self importance and disgust for the masses. It really sucks that they sanded the edges and most of the plot away, to make him a more likeable anti-hero.

It is disheartening that in a shot for shot adaptation, they chose the short-change the source material. No shade to the actor, he acted the shit out of that role. My issue was the choice to ignore how awful the entire point of the supers were. Feckless, Violent, Machiavellian, and vile reflections of the population, who were just as evil or inept as the population or criminals they stop, all of them. Rorschach was just "missing the point" of an otherwise larger missed target.
