That's not what you said though. You said multiple insulting things about people then wonder why you get in trouble for it.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I will say that there is a lot less spam lately

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Even the spammers know a dead horse when they see one

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Internet is dead. We need to touch grass, draw our own memes, and hang them up on the wall of our favorite bar.

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

This would also solve the age restriction problem, no kids at bars anyway.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I like this idea more then I should lol

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

i'm just here for memes

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah its dying a death.
Sometimes less than ten posts in an hour depending on the time.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Back to imgur, realistically. Or youtube shorts.

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

Reddit. Imgur. Reddit. Imgur. Solitaire.

Rinse repeat.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Or the Fediverse alternatives: Lemmy, Pixelfed, Lemmy, Pixelfed, Solitaire.gg

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Geeze. Stop trying to make pixelfed happen. It ain’t gonna happen

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Not Pixelfed itself. An Imgur built on top of Pixelfed.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

https://www.memedroid.com/ ? Maybe? I dunno, IDGAF

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm happy here anyway. I've found my people.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I've been looking for a good site to post my drawings on, one that doesn't have a full on porn section, if someone finds one, let me know.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

that depends on what kind of content you want to see
yours sincerely, captain obvious

Outside?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Grandmas house, ask for photo albums and get memes from family pictures, internet free

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you find out, tell me.

1 year ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 2

Same

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hopefully programmers of Imgur will build an Imgur-like interface for Pixelfed: /gallery/wvU5EVL

Following this thread. While flogging the corpse of and squeezing the last few drops of life.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Same. I've seen others suggest discords but it's not the same vibe as a website.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I've seen that too and it's always kind of strange to me. I might be missing something but the Discord groups I was a part of are nothing like Imgur and I don't know why they're presented as compatible.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It's the community thing for some.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I guess it's easier to be an abusive discord mod and carve out your own little kingdom, and that's the direction we're going. Social atomization. Burbclaves.

Chris Pratt has done a bunch of charity work and is, by most accounts, a nice guy. Why do we have to villify good people just because their opinions don't 100% align with how we personally feel? All he did was urge people to have an open mind for fucks sake

Pixelfed let's you post albums, but there's something about servers so I guess you have to find the right one

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Yeah, hopefully someone will build an Imgur-like interface on top of Pixelfed. /gallery/wvU5EVL

Anyone else's favourites folders option disappeared from adding a gif to a comment?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Wasnt sure if that was just me (i have a zfold, so the aspect ratio difference breaks things sometimes) or what

It shows up if you turn on auto rotate and rotate your phone. Not annoying at all...

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can't choose folders or my own posts. Also not getting any notifications

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

pfft, imgur is dead, tumblr is dead, sure, whatever
anyway, next post xDDD

imgur is good because it is not popular enough to be enshittified by capitalism, the only shit here is user posted shit (assuming you have an use content blockers or some manner), which is why i draw the comparison to tumblr, another site full of shitposting

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 10

It's flooded with bots posting, it's moderated by an AI and unless you're a paid member or have ad blocker it's rammed with more ads than you can poke a stick at. You're plain wrong.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

you seem to be new here, welcome. you probably don't seem to notice the arcade stuff, or the emeralds, or the absolutly bad ads, or the censorship, or the bot spam.

9gag

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 6

9gag is as MAGA as imgur is WOKE - both are cringe as fuck.

mUh eNLiGhtEnEd cEntRizm!!111

I left 9gag as it was full of neo-conservatives, with a worrying fringe of what seemed to be genuine neo-fascists

News: All well-known social media sites are corporate owned. The primary goals of a corporation, legally & practically, is to maximize shareholder value & generate profits. For social media companies specifically, this means 1. Growing user engagement & time spent on platform. 2. Expanding user bases. 3. Maximizing advertising revenue (their main income source). 4. Collecting user data to improve AD TARGETTING. 5. Maintaining market position against competitors. Want "different"? GOOD LUCK.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People really need to join us in the fediverse if they want to change things. User-created and community-owned platforms like Mastodon (twitter), Pixelfed (Insta/Imgur), PeerTube (video), Loops (TikTok), Lemmy (Reddit), Ghost & WriteFreely (blog), etc. No ads, no data mining.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yet. Ads are soooooo pervasive.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

No. Ads are fundamentally at odds with the fediverse. There are no centralized companies, no for-profit companies. It's all paid for by subsidies, crowdfunding/donations.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's a discord by @ElbowDeepInAHorse inthestable or something.

That discord is just Imgur but actually good.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

I Jane trouble with the discord. Haven't figured out how to browse as easily. I like to watch.
