Haha! I usually build in layers very carefully, so that allows me to tweak my shapes, values and colour as I go, but I still need to be quite decisive so as to not overwork the paper, or make the colors dull and muddy. But incase I do need to rework an area, I can lift off some of the pigments with a kneadable eraser. It doesn’t do an excellent job since the colors can get into the grooves as I blend, but it sure helps to fix things to a decent extent.
