There was a viral AI video of a seahorse eating krill posted yesterday, so I'm posting these to illustrate what actual seahorses look like when feeding.

The main inhibitor is the amount of care they require. They need very clean and calm conditions and are very picky eaters. Wasted food can quickly pollute their environment beyond what they can tolerate. Only captive raised ones are legal here; thankfully, as their collection from the wild for novelty and pseudo-medicinal purposes has decimated their populations.

No I get what they're saying. We as a species have been especially successful (esp. wrt. science/technology) because of specialization. This is awesome content, but it's like a specialization within a specialization. I would guess there are probably less than 20 people in the world who are actively contributing to our global knowledge in this space. We're "allowed" to see it, but we're not "supposed to" see it, if you follow.
