Another poor turnout for the Mango Moron

Trump hates poor people.
Don't vote for him !

I usually don't upvote these kinds of posts, but the last image... I upvoted it in hopes it becomes a reality, this has gone on long enough

The idiot was at a nonunion plant? What an idi... no wait, it's actually exactly what I'd expect from him.

Shame on the NYT, Reuters, and many others for reporting that Trump was "visiting striking auto workers" in their headlines. Go read the NYT article. It says "striking auto workers" in the headline and then acknowledges that he went to a non-union plant in the same fucking article.

Exactly! I shook my head seeing people vote for him a second time. It's mind-boggling to think they will still vote for him, even after all the arrests and court decisions (sexual assault & fraud) against him.

He will definitely be getting those "holes in one" he wants

Will his downfall wreck the republican party?
zHurk777
Lying Shills. Some of the "striking auto workers" at the trump rally were lying shills who were not in a union but held unions-for-trump signs. Also, the rally was at a non-union plant that employed about 150, but 400-500 "workers" were supposedly at the rally.

The GOP is Trump's party now. The old GOP is dead. This is not a bad thing at all.

tbh, i live in Canada a short drive to America. the States have been like part of my backyard all my life and now it's as is i'm watching an insane, preventable wildfire coming to take it all away. i fear the only path in the future is going to be a messy civil war that will drag democracies around the world down with it. he needed to be arrested the day after he turned over the White House.
ElectricFops
Ideally, he should've never been there in the first place, but unfortunately, a lot of the people in the here in US love loudmouths and showmanship. They're in love with the IDEA of someone who can vicariously get revenge on 'liberal elitists' that they can't do anything to and feel like are looking down on them and a lot of them thought and still think Trump is that guy.
doctorId
The thing that I can't get over is that all the things his followers are mad about and voted for him to get revenge for are all made up. They're burning the whole country down over an imaginary culture war spoon fed to them by the most transparent propagandists in history. By far the most dangerous elitists are the ones they're fighting for. If they would stop being stooges for the ruling class things could get better for everyone, including themselves.
ElectricFops
And there's also a good number of Americans who either still believe if they keep plugging along they can make things better for themselves, or are at the other end of that spectrum and are so broken by the current system that they don't believe things can ever get better for them so they don't feel like they have a dog in the race and so they enjoy watching the chaos and pettiness like its just another episode of reality tv.
ElectricFops
I unfortunately get to live in a perpetual red state, so I get to see a front row view of how the average MAGA thinks and acts when they're not frothing at the mouth and messing their pants at the idea of Trump owning the libs.

#4 This is why this demographic join his cult. Because he is a reflection of them and their hatred for life.

Some day we will all wake up to the news headline that he has passed away.

Hopefully describing someone having helped him in doing so

Just passing away is nowhere near the end he deserves... really, I mean it. I hope it involves human feces thrown at him publically until he asphyxiates.

We thought Bush Jr was an idiot then Trump comes along… let’s hope we’ve stopped digging
zHurk777
We still know that Bush#2 is an idiot. bush#2, reagan, & trump are the worst presidents in the history of the United States.
doctorId
God, I remember there was basically an entire cottage industry developed out of making fun of GWB's intelligence. Books, punk albums, entire sitcoms. And then Trump comes along 15 years later and makes him look like Stephen Hawking.

He will still get 48% of the vote. Do not think you don't need to vote.
stewpid
60% of vote. Minorities are not buying Biden's economic disaster anymore
StewedTomaters
Maybe you should stop vilifying them if you want their votes. I mean, it'd mess up the whole strategy, I get it, but: food for thought.
Ah, but then you wouldn't ever get a majority, without that racial animosity. Lindsay Graham would be a more endearing Senator if he were honest about his sensuality, too.

#7 Clinton defunded social security to "balance the budget" and the accounting and economic crises of Bush's era tie back to Reagan's and Clinton's decisions
BluePaladin42
Sauce for the SSI thing? Only thing a google search turned up for me is he signed a law that allowed the IRS to collect back taxes from an individuals Social Security benefits.
aeroz36
Here's a wiki link and under "Deficits and debt" there is a note on "borrowing from on pocket." It concedes the point then gives the counter that it was per usual https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economic_policy_of_the_Bill_Clinton_administration#Deficits_and_debt
FFKonoko
yeah, for sake of equality in treatment, famous rapist Bill is not exactly a high road to Trump. And Reagans time is absolutely the source of so many issues.
WellEverybodysHeardAboutTheBird
Sigh... Nothing has crashed and nothing has burned until he's physically in jail and exhausted all his appeals and he's legally barred from being on the ballot and he and his children are genuinely broke and banned from all communication platforms. Until ALL of that happens, he will continue to have an influence on a minimum of 30% of the American population and continue to run one of the two major American political parties.

I’m still hoping for the bucket-o-chicken with a side of heart attack.
valen00
I'm hoping there's a silver lining. If he takes 30% of voters with him and fractures the party that leaves 20ish% to vote for the rest of the right wing. As you guys don't have preferential voting that could lead to a landslide. If you dream hard enough.
cabalin
I hope he does continue to run one of our parties, right into the ground. Perhaps the only thing he is succeeding at
FuckThemIfTheyCantTakeAJoke
Trump is a walking talking advertisement for how fucked up America is. Vote him back in. Burn the world down.
relsky
Yup. Until all of that happens, we are still on the brink. And if he dies before all of that happens, or if any of it ends in his favor... we are done. And I'm talking like Roman Empire type done. In fact, there many, many similarities to current America and the end of Rome...
GoToTheZoo
Sure dude.. you know, people have believed the US on the brink of collapse since before it was even a country right?
Z0op
And thats why you believe it can’t happen?
Evi1Gav
That 30% is optimistically high. Even if you include everyone who voted for him in 2020 (75 million), that's less than 25% of the population. If you consider that some of those now see how delusional he is, I'd be surprised if it's more than 20%. But a very vocal 20%.
ThatShiftyMonkey
The problem is there's another 20% that does not like him but would still vote for him because they're gop-lifers. 40% of the country will vote for him. We need high turnout, in enough states, to counter that. If they suppress just enough votes in just enough states, he can win with 40% popular vote.
CaptSheffield
Evi1Gav,I'm lazy, is that the population old enough to vote or the population.
Mehlbox
There's a saying... if 5 people vote for what to have for dinner, and 2 vote for different kinds of pizza, two don't care and don't vote, and one votes to eat one of the other four people... even if you have pizza for dinner, you still have a problem.
ThatShiftyMonkey
That's a saying?
Datsinginguy
Never hard that saying. It sounds like the kind of saying someone who eats people says...
Tumescentpie
He should be sitting in jail waiting for trial. Especially after going into a gun store and holding a gun AND making countless threats.
demianstine
Did he actually touch the gun. I ask because as much as I want him in jail, he seems to know how to keep not quite commit crimes in public. Yes he dose criminal shit and commits crimes all the time but never in plain sight.
Tumescentpie
Yes. He held the gun. And he has committed a fuck ton of crimes and violations of the constitution in plain sight. Unfortunately we have this thing in America called selective prosecution. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/09/25/us/politics/trump-glock-gun-south-carolina.html
Tumescentpie
As much as I hate the daily mail this photo shows him doing it too https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12559135/amp/Trump-GUN-shopping-Marjorie-Taylor-Greene-829-99-9MM-GLOCK-face.html
demianstine
I've read a little more about it and there is some real question whether his holding the gun constitutes specifically a crime. And of course if there's any question, nothing will come of it.
