I combined some old RAM chips and a 3D printed frame I designed into a lamp. I added some diffusion based on advice from much smarter people than me.

Not an elegant layout, but it's LEDs so in theory you'll never need to see this again.

Cool project! If you put a opaque plastic (or even paper) diffuser in there it will even up the lights

I didn't take an photos of it but there is a piece of parchment paper on the inside of both of them. It does work pretty well, like you said
