#4 These things are cool. I used one on a bike packing trip, did a good job heating up a full sized pan for dinners. You can get denatured alcohol, usually at hardware stores, and it will burn cleaner than 91% rubbing alcohol. Just make sure it's totally out before packing! Alcohol can burn clear or with barely visible flames.

#2 For skin, a good scrubbing of the area and/or your exfoliant of choice will do the trick. The marker may be "permanent," but it's only on the uppermost layer of skin and will flake off with the dead skin cells. If it's still there after your next shower, you're doing something wrong.

I didn't grow up around cigarettes or ashtrays, so I can't speak to how well those would work, and was generally not on that tight a clock. So if that works faster, good to know.

Though, in my high school use-case, smelling of cigarettes would probably have gotten me in more trouble than anything I'd drawn on my arms while bored in class.

#6 I grow plants and also paint and I do not even have a light over 2700K. Most of them are 2200K or 1800K. I do use smart bulbs and strips for decor in red, orange or a pinch of purple. My only 2700K lights are the "big" overhead lights that I use only when I need to find something small or read from something that's not a screen. My plants and paintings only get what nature intended.

Some painters use the equivalent of outdoor sunlight, so they can make sure their work will look good in direct natural lighting, which it should never hang in anyway, but if it's gonna, they want it to at least look right to them is my understanding of how "fuax plen-air" lighting helps, but most artists forget that untrained eyes really do see differently, it's not just a mental perception thing there are also artists that have an extra cone and usually only they can see that difference anyway

You're exactly right and I get sharing my own story might be perceived as a counter-argument. I am a hobbyist in both these activities and I am convinced that if I were to make it a business I would end up using at least one 4kK light source as I would have to paint regardless of the weather or time of day, and it would be wise to test my works under different conditions. I would also be using at least some grow lights for plants that I would be placing in darker corners out of space needs.

And my understanding regarding the use of artificial light is related to professional gallery or museum displays which tend to stay around 4k, and I think that is important to professional artists.
