Chatting with my friend in Ukraine

There is so much I have to say about this situation. I'm a Swede and I used to work very closely with colleagues in Ukraine. I spent one week a month in Kyiv for several years, made friends and had girlfriends.

Right now I'm chatting with one of those friends, a brilliant software developer I worked with, and friend with whom I traveled with.

He managed to get out of Kyiv yesterday and is now relatively safe in south western Ukraine. But he's still fleeing from war. Our other friend is stuck closer to Kyiv because the roads are clogged.

Meanwhile, I'm checking updates on the situation while playing Horizon: Forbidden West on my new ps5 after a nice dinner, looking forward to the weekend.

What a fucked up world we live in.
