Montreal is banning pitbulls
All Pitbulls currently in shelters will be killed, and any unregistered pitbulls will be taken from their families and killed. Montreal chooses to blame the breed and not the owner or the training for an attack on a woman earlier this year. The city's response is to kill all the pitbulls.
Those in Montreal could also try and appeal to their legislators
Letters and petitions, while being only words on paper, can sometimes help stop horrible preposals like this frog going into law and killing thousands of innocent dogs.
Canadian imgurians get them out of the city, please!
The only way that shelter pitbulls can survive this is if they are taken out of Montreal. There are a few organizations trying to get the dogs out, if you're in the area, you can help by volunteering with them.
