Le Mont Derrière, Bellecombe-en-Bauge, Savoie, France

So apparently it's my cake day, and imgur was prompting me to post something. So I'm posting a few pics from a trip I took with my father last year to France.

Also included was a trip to a nearby gorge: La Gorge du Fier. Pretty deep, but in the past it's flooded to well above the level of the path - In the 60s, I believe.

The far end of the gorge - the water's still flowing down below between the roks,but this odd formation was at the level of the path. Strange looking!

These are only 9 of about 300 pics I took (went nuts with a recently acquired dslr). Pretty new to the camera, so the quality is not necessarily great, but I did what I could given the awesome landscape I was looking at :)
