The look on the fighters face after being told that a Goblin cracked his head open was fantastic.
It was literally three buttons that needed to be pressed in the right order.
He was kicked out and came back after swearing he would not cheat again. So far he has kept his promise and is quite a good player.
I found it fitting.
Who the fuck needs fifty candles, twenty torches, ammo out the ass, tons of soap and talk powder and out of all of that fucking 300 ft of rope?! (plus a bunch of other shit)
Lvl 20s do not belong in lvl 1 games. They ruin the fun for the starting players.
The thief kept stealing shit and getting the party in trouble, and the mage was getting tired of it.
Basically told the guard to do his damn job but that they would help by searching with the guards.

In 3.5e, I was once forced to kill everyone else in the party, forcing a game reset.
HeraldOfTheBadger
Goblins do d4+1 damage, did the fighter have like Con 10??
TheCuntDoesNotFallFarFromTheCuntTree
my favorite time playing D&D was me (halfling rouge) and another halfling druid(?) rode into every battle on the back of his pet bear
Twiganut
If you let your goblin crit-kill a player in a level one encounter you need to rethink your style maybe ... also LOL Clerk!
PressingForward
In my most recent session, a buddy and I unfortunately fell to our deaths after trying to run across an old bridge away from danger : /
abgemacht
What sort of features do clerks have?
Zarital
I derped hard, it's supposed to be a Cleric. But clerks have the ability to scam PCs out of coin.
Zarital
BTW I will be making another post and hoping to make it much larger than this, if you want to add your story PM me!

Thank you for making me laugh loud enough to startle my dog.
Scionyde
Haha. Anytime.
TheLordOfChange
Once i rollen Int roll and failed which led to me killing about 20 000 people
Tyrannotron
Never understood why anyone would cheat at a game that can't be won.
tmadiso1
Well said
Tyrannotron
Thanks.

Some of these stories were on the DM post yesterday...

Bridges are our puzzles. GM quit giving us bridges because they slow us down so much. "Should we walk? Throw a rope? Send the horses first?"
WaitingonCoffee
Then of course our jackass inquisitor would always try to attack it in case it was a bridge mimic. Cause those exist apparently.
PurpleisaWake
Anymore stories?
Zarital
I was thinking of posting more, since I've DMed for more than two years I have plenty. Got any you want added to it?
PurpleisaWake
Unfortunately no, I only tried this sorta thing once and we never got to the actual playing.
Zarital
Oh, well you can always play online. Roll20 is a great website.
MindOfMobius
you never know when you'll need 300ft of rope, i agree with that purchase.
Nostradamuswaswrong
Boondock Saints!
darthbennett
dude, you can totally attack party members. i allow it whenever a player asks.
asteconn
Jolly good! Carry on.
BustedTuna
Why can't players attack each other? Some of the best moments in games are two PCs fighting.
Zarital
Pathfinder society does not allow for straight up PvP. But in my D&D it's a fucking blood bath.
BustedTuna
Pathfinder society is full of pussies, then.
Zarital
I guess, but in regular pathfinder you can PvP all you want. In fact there is an arena you can enter and win epic loot.
Rosek
How is Pathfinder different from DnD? My DnD group plays it but I know next to nothing about it, apart from it seems really hard.
Rosek
*Played it even
Zarital
It's basically streamlined 3.5 D&D with some minor changes and the way the world interacts with the players. If you know 3.5 then PF is easy
ColoradoGirrl
Reminds me of the time our bard talked us through the whole fight seen. GM was like "well that was supposed to take us the next hour. (1)
ColoradoGirrl
But he just bluff checked his way into making them believe you serve the same person so see you next week." Still ended up fighting them (2)
ColoradoGirrl
When they found out he had lied. (3)
StrawberryPrincess92
Not a cleric, just a Clerk from the local general store, and a low level wizard in the woods with the monster that killed thier fighter.
HeraldOfTheBadger
It took me 3 years to teach my party that these were different things.
StrawberryPrincess92
if a priest makes a mistake, is it a clerical error?
Sirolfus
No, a clergical error
Zarital
I just noticed that after posting this... fuck my life.
SpeakInMemes
Naw, it's better this way. I'm imagining a guy running around with a clipboard screaming about how CPA's aren't trained for this.
StrawberryPrincess92
is that not an accurate depiction of what happened?
Zarital
Basically, it was pretty funny how they talked about handling the current situation of losing their tank.
StrawberryPrincess92
these memes remind me of thespoonyone's web series of counter monkey videos
Zarital
I forgot about that. Holy shit, I gotta go look at that again.
