I have been advised not to watch it past season 6, which I've just begun. Thoughts on that?
it gets crazy dumb, still watchable if you don't mind laughing at some serious parts.
I'd say that Supernatural derailed from their usual stuff back then. See it as a game. You finished the base main game, the rest is just DLC
But I still think it's worth it. Sure, some episodes may be repetitive, but what show doesn't have those episodes.
Also, some episodes seem to be like side quests. But some are awesome, like this episode.
