Lewis Powell this 1865 hunk is must for all you haters of Abraham Lincoln. Lewis was one of the co conspirators with that killed the president. Pity modelling wasn't around in 1865 . He could have been on the cover Victorian GQ and not killing great presidents.

The colourisation of Czesława Kwoka, a Polish Catholic child who died in the Auschwitz concentration camp at the age of 14, transforms her from a black and white character from history, into a real child like you'd see today, that was having her dreams and life stolen from her.

Queen Elizabeth the second. We see her as regal epitome of royalty, but here you see the beautiful normal girl before the Queen took over.

Pilot Officer John D. Flintoft Of 440 (City Of Ottawa) RCAF Squadron circa 1942 looks like he could be heading off to a hipster party playing vinyl instead of killing nazi's.

Marie Curie in her lab being a real feminist by transforming science . Discovering elements and susing out x-ray, The exposure to the radiation in this lab would cause her to die of leukaemia

Einstien - whenever Ive seen him he looks like a genius . Here he just looks like everybody uncle.

Winston Churchill almost awkwardly sits at a desk. He has no clue of the burdens in life he will have to carry.

Lol at 'before the Queen took over' makes it sound like Elizabeth Windsor is just the host for an immortal regal symbiote

Become a real feminist by transforming science! That can be interpreted in different ways here.

That's a high bar to clear. But a true Scotswoman would have no trouble.

Right like the real act of feminism in that instance would be working in spite of any gender based adversity she faced gaining the resources

It's a lot of research. She goes to archives, uses paintings, written material out of those day's, old color photos. I do that to ?

it's basically educated guessing

9 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

You use written references and guess. There's a lot of flipping the colored layer to B&W to make sure your tones are correct
