A disparate group of friends end up at a creepy old mansion and find themselves facing against all manner of ghoulies, ghosties, and fur-covered beasties.
SPOOKIES is one of those gloriously bad horror movies a fan randomly catches at 3am when they’re 14 years old and makes it a core part of their personality. An awkwardly edited mash of two completely different films, there’s deadly spider-women, exploding Grim Reapers, farting muck men, and more. The unintentional humor is off the charts, and the number of surprisingly impressive makeup effects and creature costumes is equally high. This is not a good movie, but it is a GREAT movie.
