I've had too may owners run up to me chasing their their loose dog who's causing problems with my leashed dog saying "don't worry, he's friendly". Maybe, maybe not - but I know for sure my dog will feel trapped and get defensive (i.e., nippy). Leash your dogs.

I really do 🙂. Fun fact: the trail is known as Mach’s Trail, named after Johan Mach, the local manor lord who imported the tree nymph butterfly from China, which later spread throughout Europe. His son became a renowned physicist and the speed of sound is named after him. And just off the path there’s a willow tree beneath which a French soldier from Napoleon’s Grand Armee is buried. A lot of history for one small trail.
