I can't imagine this will do wonders for their stock prices. Someone said they'd do buybacks to drive prices up, but if they get known for botching this and other sites, not many will be willing to invest more.
And you can always use both.

This is not even the first Imgur riot, folks. In the end, the worst offenders will be banned eternally, and the site will continue to limp along. If the "rebellion" succeeds, that just means the site shuts down much sooner.
