Yes, in small, specific doses. If you legitimately need to show someone thst deepfakes exist, then using a video of a deepfake can convince them. But usuall, one video can convince many people.
I would more equate it to animal trials for a medication. It is acceptable to do a small trial to show it's unsafe, and then repost the results. You should not gas a family of squirrels every time you have an argument.
