I'd love to get a hand gun, but I'm also happy for NZ's Gun laws making it so hard as I like being alive more

Consider getting the .22 version of the same thing as a "trainer" / something more affordable to shoot.

Gorgeous. I want one. Would you recommend? How much do they typically run?

They are nice and cheap, but still well made. Kind of the Corolla of handguns. Usually around $500 give or take depending on accessories.

Very cool! What's your favorite thing about it? Is there anything about it that's not so great?

They aren't exactly tack drivers. Their accuracy is decent enough (better than MY accuracy for sure) but they are Corollas, not sportscars.

I know it is a very personal thing, but, I don't find it a particularly handsome weapon, not that THAT makes much difference.

A nice feature that isn't really a feature is that there is a full size .22LR version that externally works the same way for a practice gun.

I rather like the interchangeable grips & that they can be equipped with a thumb safety or keylock. Aside from that they are just functional
