No, you could tell who done it from the beginning, and the twist with Janelle monae was hack. Also, it was just so harshly lit and ugly...everyone looks sunburned and their eyes are all bloodshot

Something I really liked about this film is it broke my strategy for murder mysteries because its almost always the biggest actor or the person you know from other shows/films but the cast was so star studded it was not a reliable method.

"Ghosted" is so bad. After first 5 min I knew I was not going to like it, so I kept it playing just to have some background noise. Another 5 min in, the dialogue was so cheesy I had to switch to something else.

I think I'll like it better on a second watch, the first half of the movie I was going "oh my GOD, when are they going to kill this moron already?" everytime Edward Norton spoke, but I found the twist and conclusion very satisfying.

To be fair, the entire show had become more "fleshed out". Burns would have been fine if MASH itself hadn't evolved. It could have stayed like "Married with Children" and rode the original wackiness till it dropped. It just got better. And better. And better.

Really, there was nowhere left to go with an irredeemable jerk, anyway. You can only make so many jokes out of it, after all. Exchanging him for someone similarly stuffy and abrasive, but NOT a jackwagon, was the right move. Gave them room to grow the character from. Burns... could not grow as a character and still be Burns.

I'm not sure I'd say "better" overall. They still always got Hawkeye for chest wounds, and when the unexpected happened Charles got flustered relatively easily. But he WAS extremely skilled, unlike Frank. And on the rare occasions he did make a mistake, he owned up to them.

I always say that swapping out Frank for Charles is the only character change I've seen that yielded 200% return on quality. Not only is Charles a better character, but suddenly Margaret could be better too.

He was more experienced. Knew when toeing the line was important but understood a little breaking off the rules was good for morale. Blake was the dad who wants his kids to be happy. Potter was the dad who wanted the kids to succeed. At least, that's what I (who had no dad) got out of it.

I also vastly prefer BJ to Trapper. Trapper was always a bit of a sleazeball, and I didn't care for it. The casting sweet spot was the season or two after we switched out from Blake, Frank, and Trapper but before we lost Radar.
