StarFox (1993) FORMATION FLYING

StarFox (1993) formation flying sequence.

It was a space-flight action adventure that focusses on shooting and laser blasters, but Nintendo's Shigeru Minamoto (Producer) and Katsura Eguchi (Director) had hearts tuned to the JOYS of aviation in a personal spaceship. They included a brief Formation Flying sequence a la the Blue Angels where the player must carefully match the choreographed maneuvers of the squadron. #videogames #animation #scifiart #spaceflight #gamedesign

One of my favorite SNES games and a technical marvel of its era. Also fuck that giant spider robot on that asteroid level
