Even as a kid, I understood the joke. (All three of those chemicals are strong solvents--often used to strip paint) That concoction wouldn't just be dangerous to toons. It'd be hazardous to ANYONE.

Except it doesn't usually kill humans right away unless it gets set on fire (flammable). It just increases their cancer risk with each exposure. I've handled all 3 substances, each one by itself can easily remove paint erase markers. All together, a toon's ink lines would get removed and they'd come apart in minutes.
